A sangat that sits together, cooks together and serves together.

Namdhari Sangat Society is a Sikh charitable congregation. We gather for kirtan and naam simran, run langar open to everyone, teach Gurmat to our children and support neighbours through our food bank.

Who we are

Rooted in naam, dressed in white, open to all.

The Namdhari tradition asks for a simple life: early-morning simran, honest work, a plain white dress and a kitchen that never turns anyone away. Under the guidance of Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji, our sangat keeps those practices alive in Canada.

Everything here runs on volunteer hands. Families take turns in the kitchen, young people run registration, and elders lead the path and kirtan. Whoever walks in is welcome to sit, listen and eat.
